Paige lost her first tooth about two weeks ago. I love this picture of her taken before her dance recital because you can really see that cute little gap. She was so happy to have lost her first tooth. Many of her preschool friends were losing teeth and she just plain felt left out. Kids are so funny about things like that. The tooth fairy brought her two dollars for her first tooth. That seems about right these days.![]()

Spa Time
Although we are still waiting to install the solar on the pool, it is done! It is so nice to see the landscape finally finished. It adds a whole other space to the house that we haven't used since we moved in nine months ago. The kids have been dying to go in, so we fired up the spa last night (since it's still a little chilly, June gloom and all) and had some family time hanging out. We had so much fun!

Happy Robot
I used a Mojo Monday layout from a few weeks ago to create this card for a sweet two year old boy that lives on the East Coast. I don't get to see him very often, but he sure is loved by us. How cute is this little robot having hello? All the papers I got at Michael's and this was the first time I put them to good use.

My First Mini-Book
One thing I was determined to do on our trip was chronicle it each night as a journal. I bought this mini-book album from Little Yellow Bicycle, along with the papers. Before the trip, I glued all the papers onto the cardstock and made sure to create a journaling space in each section. Then I packed up a little craft kit that I brought with me on the trip with basic scrapbooking supplies. I had so much fun each night writing down what we did that day. Since it was our first family camping experience, I really wanted to jot down everything right away.

Zion National Park
My blog has been neglected because we went on our first family camping trip in Zion National Park, UT. We were originally supposed to go to Yosemite, but a big storm was coming in, so we changed plans and went somewhere dry; although it did rain our last night there. We had such a fantastic time and were amazed by the beauty of the park. The kids loved sleeping in a tent under the stars, made friends, and hiked like little champions. I can't wait to share my travel scrapbook that I worked on each afternoon while we were there. I have a few more things to finish and then I will post pictures. Now back to reality and a ton of laundry!

Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful moms out there! I have always been close to my mom, but since having kids of my own, we have a closer and deeper relationship. Now, I understand all her worries and where they came from. And she tells me, "You will always worry for your kids, that never goes away." Really? Good gracious, then I'm in trouble.
This Mother's Day card I actually made for my mother-in-law. She's one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted persons you'll ever meet. I love the Echo Park papers I chose for this card. So perfect for Spring and celebrating a special day. The digi stamp is from All That Scraps. I am loving the instant gratification of buying digital stamps. It's so fun!

Little Ducklings
We had some visitors on our street early last evening. The scared little mama led them into a pool being built three houses down, so a neighbor, along with the help of my mom, had to find a way to rescue the little ducklings. We managed to corral them all and reunite them with their mom. Then off they went down the street; hopefully, back to their home, safe and sound.

Happy Easter
I had a great time making Easter cards this year with the Taylored Expressions set. SO perfect for little kids. This one I made with my nephew in mind. Who can resist this little bunny in a carrot car? It's the cutest!
