The kids had fun dying their Easter eggs today. This was the first year that Nick really got into it. As soon as they were done, the question was, "Can we eat one, now?" They must be growing because they have been eating anything and everything lately.

Easter Bookmarks
More fun from the Taylored Expressions Easter set that I purchased. On her blog, she posted some bookmarks that someone made and I thought, "I need to do that too." What a great thing to give away on Easter morning. The little lamb is so cute and I do love the biblical quotes. I love the coordinating Stampin' Up papers also.

Kit Cards
Here are my last two cards to share that were made from the kit. One for a special teacher that brightens Paige's day. And the other, a birthday card for a special brother-in-law who has a thing for sweets. I really made these papers go far. Love when that happens.

Brand New Do
Another layout using the same kit as Nick's "You Make Me Smile" page. Again, I used the quilting technique on the bottom right. I also managed to use some of the tulle that was included in the kit. Not as easy as it looks to incorporate tulle. I just love looking at Paige's cute smile in this photo. She always loves getting her haircut. A true girly girl.

He Makes Me Smile
Last month, I dove headfirst using so much of the kit I was given in my scrapbook class. I absolutely loved all of the papers, ribbons, and most of all the quilting technique we learned. I used my small square scallop Martha Stewart punch to create the pieces to my quilt. Then I glued them in a long strip. I also created another quilt that I ran through the scallop circle nestability. I was inspired by the March monthly layout in The Scrap Room.

{Be} Original Block
My friend, Jenny, taught a class at her house a few days ago and I had so much fun making a plain wooden block turn into a colorful piece of inspiration. When Jenny and I were teaching together, I would walk into her classroom and admire her brightly decorated walls. Now, I walk into her house and do the same. I also got to spend some time with my former principal and other teachers. We had a great time swapping teaching stories and reliving funny memories.

Sweet Bride
Next week, Paige and I are attending a bridal shower together. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cute bridal shower stamps in my stash and I wanted something quick. I found this digi stamp on All That Scraps, by C.C. Designs. Can I just say that I am SO excited about using a digi stamp. No messy ink, I can make it any size I want, and it doesn't take up room in my box of stamps. Love it! And she is so adorable too! I outlined her dress with glue and covered it with a fine glitter. The papers are leftover from a class I took with my friend, Jenny. I plan to post about that cute project tomorrow.

Friends Forever
I am incredibly blessed to have three wonderful best friends. Sometimes I still can't believe we have remained so close for so long. After meeting in highschool, we have all taken our separate paths, but we have always been there for each other and now have another common bond, motherhood. I truly cannot imagine my life without them. These photos were taken three years ago at a local brewery and restaurant. I remember having such a great time that night. The papers in this layout are all Cosmo Cricket. I bought the chipboard letters from Oriental Trading Company quite awhile ago. I find the best way to color them is with the Bic permanent markers. Then, for this layout, I spritzed them with glimmer mist.
